To commemorate Corben Mudjandi’s exhibition JABIRU, at FARM Cultural Park in Sicily (June 2023—January 2024), Agency partnered with Palermo-based independent publishing house 89books to prepare a special folio publication that documents Corben’s 60 medium format and 35mm large-scale photographs commissioned for the Biennale exhibition.

This beautiful collection of photographs and stories provide a glimpse into the life of a young Mirarr man living in Jabiru, NT, and reflect on the past, present and future of the town, highlighting the tensions between the social and environmental disasters caused by the impact of modern industries such as mining.
