Agency Projects will be showcasing at the inaugural 2022 Melbourne Design Fair, an initiative of the NGV presented in collaboration with Melbourne Art Fair. The Melbourne Design Fair is the first of its kind in Australia and will run from 17-21 March, with two feature platforms; PRESENT AND SELECT.

PRESENT: A presentation of collectible contemporary design staged by thirteen of Australia’s leading commercial galleries, design organisations, agencies and studios.

As part of PRESENT, Agency has curated a selection of objects from acclaimed National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award winning artists Pedro Wonaeamirri from Jilamara Arts and Crafts in the community of Milikapiti (Tiwi) and Regina Pilawauk Wilson from Durrmu Arts Aboriginal Corporation based in Peppimenarti (West Daly) and multi-disciplinary artist, James Tylor, whose practice explores Australian environment, culture and social history.

For SELECT, Agency has collaborated with NGV to include works by Yolŋu acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Gunybi Ganambarr, Kunwinjku artist and weaver Alicia Mardday and Wagilak weaver Megan Wilfred.

Melbourne Design Fair runs 16-20 March, at Warehouse 16, 28 Duke St Abbotsford.
