  • UNTOLD Darwin 2022

    Presented with Salon Art Projects and supported by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation, UNTOLD Darwin was a weekend of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander storytelling, discussion and exchange.

    The free weekend program included 8 panel discussions, 4 short film screenings, featuring 40 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, arts workers, cultural leaders and academics.

    UNTOLD Darwin will return in 2023 at the George Brown Botanic Gardens in early August.

  • 2022 Sydney Contemporary

    Presented by Sydney Contemporary and Agency with supported from the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund, Agency produced a series of live talks and video portraits featuring 20 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, gallerists and curators.

    Speakers included Danie Mellor, Tyson Frigo, Sebastian Goldspink, Djon Mundine OAM< Amrita Hepi, Christopher Bassi, Emily McDaniel, Kaylie Salvatore, Christopher Hodges and Erin Vink.

  • 2022 Melbourne Design Week

    Agency Projects hosted a series of enriching breakfast talks at Collingwood Yards as part of Melbourne Design Week in March. HOLDING SPACE aims to provide an experience for audiences to obtain a greater knowledge and awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander design principles.

    The series of talks featured special presentations from five leading First Nations creatives Jenna Lee, Hannah Presley, Lisa Waup, Peta Clancy, Kait James. The backdrop for these discussions will be a curated selection of Indigenous design pieces which informs each conversation.

  • 2021/2022 MPavilion

    Agency presented an UNTOLD weekend at MPavilion as part of their 2021/2022 free program of events. UNTOLD: Marking Life - Indigenous reflections on continuing/maintaining/living rituals brought together some of the leading creative thinkers, artists and academics from across Australia.

    The program featured Hayley Millar Baker, Kimberley Moulton, Carmen Glynn-Braun, Rona Glynn-McDonald, Dakota Ferrier, Claire G Coleman, Sally Scales, Claire Wright, John Carty, Mia Boe, Thea Anamara Perkins and Susie Anderson.

  • Thread Count with Nina Fitzgerald, Shonae Hobson and Kallie Blauhorn

    Presented as part of Melbourne Fashion Festival, Thread Count was a multimedia installation that brings together some of the finest woven bags and baskets made by women from across Arnhem Land through to the Daly River Region of the Northern Territory.

    On 4 March 2022, Agency held a panel conversation with Nina Fitzgerald, proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman and Thread Count Creative Director, Shonae Hobson, Kaantju woman and Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art at the NGV, and Kallie Blauhorn, Board member of Melbourne Fashion Festival.

  • Indigenous Art Centre Program for 2022 Melbourne Art Fair

    Through the committed work of the Indigenous Art Centre Program, Agency Projects and Melbourne Art Fair spotlighted the five artists whose work was presented at the 2022 Fair as part of the program.

    Presented by Sydney Contemporary and Agency Projects, supported by the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund.

    This series was created for 2021 Sydney Contemporary Explore and features portraits of Tony Albert, Peta Clancy, Karla Dickens, Jenna Lee, Noŋgirrŋa Marawili, Dr Christian Thompson AO, Regina Pilawuk Wilson and Jemima Wyman.

    A series of online conversations celebrating some of the extraordinary winners of the 2021 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards.

    Speakers in this series include Pedro Wonaeamirri, Brook Andrew, Coby Edgar, Hannah Presley, Kyra Mancktelow, Hubert Pareroultja, Mervyn Rubuntja and Freja Carmichael.
